Beginner

First Mile

You have no CDL, no truck, and maybe nobody in the family who drives. You want the honest version of how this works before you spend a dollar.

You will leave with

  • A CDL plan: which training path, what it costs, how long it takes
  • A first-year plan that keeps your record clean, because your record sets your insurance price later
  • Your own startup budget, built with the real 2026 line items
  • A clear picture of what the road does to your body and your home life, and how to protect both
7 modules, in order
  1. The Million-Mile Mindset

Trucking as a mental endurance sport. Emotional regulation, the zero-accident ritual, and why you treat it like a business from day one.

  2. Know the rig

80,000 pounds, two football fields to stop, half a second of brake lag. The curve rule, axle weights, and what weather does to all of it.

  3. Getting your CDL

The DOT physical, the permit tests, and the choice between private school and company-sponsored training.

  4. The first 90 days

The danger zone. G.O.A.L., the fatigue wall, and the kit Russell tells every rookie to carry.

  5. Endorsements and year one

Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles and Triples, and why you stay put for a full 365 days.

  6. Health and home

Cooking in the cab, sleep, moving when the wheels are still, and keeping a marriage strong from 1,000 miles out.

  7. The road to your own truck

What an owner-operator really is, the credit score and down payment lenders want, and the cost-to-launch list for your own authority.

Intermediate

Owner-Operator

You have your CDL and some miles behind you. You are tired of seeing $600 out of a $3,500 load, or you already own your truck and the money is not adding up.

You will leave with

  • A buy decision you can defend: new or used, which engine, which gearing, what to inspect
  • Your true cost per mile, so you know which loads to refuse
  • A bookkeeping system that keeps the IRS paid and your family paid
  • Negotiation scripts you have practiced, and a plan to land your first direct shipper
8 modules, in order
  1. The leap

New against used, the payment gap that becomes your growth money, and what lenders want to see in 2026.

  2. Vetting a used truck

The blow-by test, the aftertreatment audit, what the fifth wheel tells you, and why you never skip the oil analysis or the RigDig report.

  3. Spec'ing for your lane

Detroit, Cummins or PACCAR. Automated or manual. Tall gears or low gears. Match the truck to the freight.

  4. Your own authority

The filings, the insurance, and the math on your first load under your own name.

  5. Bookkeeping for road warriors

The Three-Bucket System, the per diem deduction, LLC against S-Corp, quarterly taxes, and knowing your cost per mile.

  6. The insurance shield

The four policies, what brokers require, how telematics and a dashcam pay for themselves, and how to stay hard to sue.

  7. The geography of profit

Load-to-truck ratios, the endorsement multiplier, and running triangles so you stop hauling air.

  8. Negotiation and direct contracts

The three numbers to know before you dial, Russell's scripts for low-ball offers, the accessorials to get in writing, and the pitch that wins a direct shipper.

Fleet Owner

You run your own truck and you are the business. If you stop driving, the money stops. You want trucks, drivers and systems that earn without you behind the wheel.

You will leave with

  • A sprint-by-sprint scaling plan, with the cash reserve each step needs
  • A hiring process and a pay model built to keep good drivers
  • A compliance file that stands up to a new-entrant audit
  • A tax and entity checklist to take to your CPA
  • An operation you can run from a laptop, and a plan to hand off dispatch
  • A sale-readiness checklist, so the company is worth something without you
10 modules, in order
  1. From labor to leverage

The multiplier math and the three levers: other people's money, other people's labor, and technology.

  2. The four 90-day sprints

Foundation of one, the first multiplier, the pod method, and the move to direct contracts.

  3. Cash is oxygen

Factoring, a maintenance escrow for every truck, and Russell's scaling law: never add a truck without 30 days of float.

  4. Direct contracts at fleet scale

Finding mid-sized shippers, the carrier profile, net-15 terms, fuel surcharges, volume guarantees, and a broker safety valve.

  5. Hiring drivers who stay

Clearinghouse queries, the PSP report, the pre-trip road test, the hybrid pay model, and the W-2 against 1099 trap.

  6. The DOT bible

What changed in 2026, driver qualification files, ELD rules, and passing the new-entrant audit.

  7. Keeping what you make

Section 179 and bonus depreciation, the S-Corp salary strategy, accountable-plan per diem, and audit-proof records. Built as a checklist for your CPA.

  8. Run it from a laptop

A TMS from truck one, AI dispatch and routing, predictive maintenance, back-office automation, and the dispatcher hire that gets you out of the seat.

  9. The brand

Why a YouTube channel or a podcast makes recruiting and landing contracts easier, and the three-pillar content plan.

  10. Build it to sell it

The three ways out, what buyers really pay for, due diligence, the tax trap of a sale, and letting go of the wheel.

  • Driver pay model calculator
  • New-entrant audit checklist

How the courses work

Built for your phone
Every lesson works on the screen you already carry, so you can study on a 10-hour reset or in the driveway.
You run your own numbers
The calculators and planners use your truck, your lanes and your costs, so you finish with answers that are yours.
Short lessons, real checkpoints
Each lesson ends with a quick check, so you know it stuck before you move on.
Built from the book
The courses follow Brother Trucking and go further than a page can: you practice the scripts, fill in the checklists and build the plan.

    Your instructor, Russell Leon Miller

Russell is a second-generation truck driver. His father, John Byrd Miller, drove before him. Online and on the road, Russell goes by Mulababy.

He spent more than eighteen years behind the wheel and was never once placed out of service. He teaches the way he wrote Brother Trucking: real numbers, plain talk, and no pretending the ugly parts are not there.

    Questions people ask first

Which course do I start with?

Start where you are. No CDL or no experience: First Mile. Licensed and driving, with or without your own truck: Owner-Operator. Already running your own truck and ready to add trucks and drivers: Fleet Owner.

Do I have to take them in order?

No. Each course stands on its own. They do build on each other, so if you start at First Mile, the other two are there when you are ready.

Is the launch price a real discount?

Yes. Each course has a regular price, shown crossed out. The launch price is lower and is only here while launch pricing lasts. After that, new students pay the regular price.

How do I get in after I pay?

Your receipt and your course login go to the email you used at checkout.

Can I do this on my phone?

Yes. The lessons, calculators and checklists are built for a phone first. They work on a tablet or computer too.

Is this the same as the book?

The courses are built from the book and follow its chapters. The book tells you what to do and why. The courses have you do it: run your numbers, practice the scripts, fill in the checklists and leave with a plan.

    Is there a community?

Yes. Every course comes with the private Facebook group, where the team answers your course questions. If you want calls with Russell, the coaching levels add those. And for daily conversation with drivers at every stage, there is Russell's Discord, paid monthly.

Will this make me a millionaire?

No course can promise that, and this one does not. Russell teaches the systems he used and the math behind them. Your results depend on your work, your decisions, your market and your discipline.

    What is the refund policy?

Is this legal, tax or financial advice?

No. It is education from one driver's experience. Before you form a company, sign a loan, hire drivers or file taxes, talk to a CPA, an attorney and a licensed insurance agent.
